Are Community Churches like Denominational Churches?

.) Approximately how many community churches have you been to in your state? 4 or 5.

.) Are you seeing a pattern in each community church that you attend with that particular church or churches being low key about their beliefs? Yes.

.) Why do you feel that the community churches in your state as being low key about their beliefs? From what I've observed visiting the different community churches is that those churches trying to recruit members as being at an all time high. The community churches feel that if they were to tell what they believe if it's not what the visitors, the members, or the attendees believe that the different community churches will scare off the visitors, the members, or the attendees in the different community churches.

.) Do you feel that what the community churches do by changing their name is deceptive and that their beliefs are like that of denominational churches? It sure sounds that way.

.) Do you think that community churches are another form of denominational churches? I'm beginning to think so. For example, a person can come from out of a Baptist church and be ordained to be a Minister or a Pastor he or she can have a church of their own and call it "Holiness Community Church," It does not matter if what he or she do is different from the Baptist church that they came out from under if their teaching is similar to the Baptist teaching, it won't matter what the name of their church is because at the end of the day the Pastor or Minister of that church is still Baptist. Changing a name of a church to try to suit everyone saved & unsaved is considered deceptive and false advertisement and I feel a lot of churches are going that route to try to get members and impress the world.

.) If you had a choice to where you would want to go to church or churches you would want to go and fellowship at which one or ones would they be? I would go fellowship at the following churches if I had a choice as to which ones I would attend out of state: Redeeming Love Christian Center in Nanuet, NY, Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, LA, Eagle Mountain International Church in Fort Worth, TX, Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX, Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, OK, Greenwood Christian Center in Downtown Tulsa, etc.

.) You enjoy going to church events. Are there any church events near you that you would feel comfortable being apart of? I'm all for going to church events in the Greater Hartford area near me but not everyone is welcoming & receptive of you at their church events. People tend to be welcoming and receptive to people who are members and attend their church. If you're just popping in at an event they will look at you like you're an outcast. People are skeptical about people who they don't know coming to their church events and their church as well. If you left their church & started attending other churches and you come back and visit their church they act like they don't know you and treat you like you're not apart of the body of Christ. You used to could go to a church and visit and they would welcome you and be very receptive of you when you visit. Now it you visit they discourage you from visiting and let you know to be faithful to the church you were attending.

.) Is not having a church that you can call home in your state a factor why people who live in your state consider relocating out of state to be apart of a good word church? As a born again Christian absolutely!

.) Do you feel that the really good word churches are far from you? Yes.

.) Why do you feel that the really good word churches are far from you? The reason why I feel that the really good word churches are far from me is because what they teach at those churches line up with the word of God. Salvation is being taught, souls are being saved, there is good fellowship going on, and good word churches make you feel like you are apart of their church family which is the reason why people feel comfortable joining that particular church or churches and calling it their church home. People need to feel the love when they worship at a church or else the Lord will lead them to one where everyone is loving on one another of all races'.
